New Ofsted Report Cards will give better information to parents in a simple format. They include a colour-coded 5-point grading scale to evaluate more areas of a provider’s work at-a-glance,
accompanied by short summaries of inspectors’ findings in more detail.
An overall effectiveness grade will no longer be awarded.
From autumn 2025, it’s proposed that Ofsted will no longer carry out
ungraded inspections of state-funded schools. This means every school will know that its next routine Ofsted inspection will be a full, graded one.

What will the new grading system measure?
Why is safeguarding now a separate judgement?
What will I need to do to prepare?

Different parts of a child's brain develop at different speeds and understanding these differences can help you turn any outburst, argument, or fear into a chance to integrate a child's brain and educate calmer, happier children.
The course will help your pupils to lead balanced, meaningful, and connected lives using twelve key strategies, including:
Name It to Tame It: Corral raging right-brain behavior through left-brain storytelling, appealing to the left brain's affinity for words and reasoning to calm emotional storms and bodily tension.
Engage, Don't Enrage: Keep your child thinking and listening, instead of purely reacting.
Move It or Lose It: Use physical activities to shift your child's emotional state.
Let the Clouds of Emotion Roll By: Guide your children when they are stuck on a negative emotion, and help them understand that feelings come and go.
SIFT: Help children pay attention to the Sensations, Images, Feelings, and Thoughts within them so that they can make better decisions and be more flexible.
Connect Through Conflict: Use discord to encourage empathy and greater social success.

The processes which underpin a deep dive can provide additional structure and rigour to your school's own monitoring and evaluation systems across the full range of subjects. This course provides ideas and question prompts for the deep dive process. Suggested sources of evidence; methods of enquiry and sources of evaluation criteria are also provided. The course material can be used by school leaders and subject leaders to complement existing processes, or to provide a structure against which to evaluate current practice. It will also help senior leaders and subject leaders become more familiar with the processes and questions typically used by inspectors.
This training aims to delve deeply into the quality of early years provision and whether the approach is good enough to achieve the desired outcomes.
